I saw the article on ESPN and Steelers.com. I was young when he played, but I remember hearing all about him growing up. I can kind of remember seeing him play. I know all about the legendary performance in SB IX. As a child, it also confused me how a black man had the last name White.
This has been a rough year for the Steel Curtain. A car wreck cut down another one of our guys, Ernie Holmes. I also barely remember him, but he is part of the Steeler Family.
So hey Dwight.....thanks for kicking some major butt for us in the 70's.
