E-harmony ads

I would appreciate it if somebody would do something soon about the E-harmony flash movie ads in the side frame that ABP isn't blocking, and suddenly start talking to me because my cursor happens to be there, thereby startling the crap outta me.

Surely you could turn your sound off? Or if you need it on because you are listening to music or something then it won't be so startling anyway?

I griped about it a few days ago when it inadvertently caused a minor dook storm at my house. Paul ain't real happy about it. I imaging they'll get it worked out.

You can block anything with ABP. Just because you can't hover over it, right click it, and block it doesn't mean you can't block it. I could just as easily block your old man gif. It was one of the first things that popped up, to easily eradicate if I wanted to. See that red ABP stop sign in the top right of your browser, click it and get searching!

A) I don't know what to search for.
2) When I tried that in the past, it blocks the whole left column... not just the adds, but everything on that side of the page.

(oh... and leave "angry old guy" alone, or I'll come up there and beat you with a kolbasi!)

Still no luck finding it? It won't be a TB hosted thing. I have everything except for TB blocked. That gets rid of ALL ads. For other sites, it takes a little more detective work, but I'm borderline OCD, and no ads survive anywhere where I browse with any kind of frequency. When a new one pops up, I kill it quick! Same goes for scripts running in the background. I only allow what I need / want.

Also, you can download text files of blockable stuff for ABP. That might help you out. Save as a text, and import it through ABP.
