DOH! title typo. ugh.

So being bored at work, i figure out stupid things to wonder about...

Today it was "whats the most expensive musical instrument on ebay?"

A strativarius?
A 900 BC Steinway grand?

A 1998 Sadowsky 6-string with Jaco's pubes inlaid on the fret board?

...no

a wooden flute. a stinking wooden flute made by some artist in New York!

such a dissappointment at 21 MILLION dollars.

Check it out.

Say what??? Would someone actually buy that? Yeah, it's unique and all, but not for that price!

My favorite part was explaining who the artist is:

Martin was born on July 16th, 1984 in new york city. Joint the National School of Fine Arts in 2000, interested in the neo-expressionism and the Urban Art.

Joint I bet Hah! Gotta be high to buy at those prices.

so then after still being bored....i tried to look this guy up to see who would be selling a 20 million dollar wooden flute, and there is nothing on this guy! i can't even find a different bio. but i did see some other art of his....interesting, but not worth 20 mill....which seems to be his "average" price...

Everything the guy sells is priced at 21 mill.

or

To his defense, the flute sounds pretty good. But there's no way it sounds 21M$-good.

I guess I shouldn't have tried to lowball him at 15 million. Oh, well, live and learn.
