Ear gauging- opinions?

I wonder what TBers opinions of ear stretching/gauging is and whether anyone here has them?

I will admit I've considered getting them...

I see... I had never heard of gauges referred to that way.

I say, if you like the look, then go for it. My brother used to have them, actually he might have gotten them redone. I wouldnt do it, myself, but I have nothing against them.

I just don't like the look of them... particularly the gigantic ones. At some point it becomes self-mutilation, IMO.

Remember of course that I'm in my mid 40s, and might be out of touch with the younger folks.

Actually I didn't. I did a Google search (safe search on moderate) and grabbed the first usable image I found.

I suppose I should fix my original post.

Funny that, every body piercing professional and enthusiast I know in the North East (and beyond) calls them flesh tunnels, not tubes...
