My family is participating. We are turning everything off from 830 - 930. To me its not about making a "big" difference in saving electricity for an hour. Its about the symbolism that we care about the planet.

Turock: I learned to play through an instructor, then I got an amp and now I play through that.

But during Earth Hour I turn every electrical appliance in my house on at once and go out to the electric meter and watch the wheel spin around like a top.
Last Earth day, I cut the catalytic converters off my car and let all but 6 lbs of air out of the tires before I went driving around with the AC on full blast.

I think it's worth doing for the perspective definitely, you may even remember who you used to be without the shiz around you imo, like back in the day, before we were thrown the bunkum we got now.
