Earth Quake Rocks Illinois

Sign in to disble this ad
I was sitting my car this morning and it started slightly bouncing. I thought it was wind, but it felt like someone playing a joke on me.

I looked down at my keys and they were rocking back and forth.

We had a 5.4 earth quake down in Salem IL.

I felt the tremors here in Atlanta. I turned on the tube to see where the earthquake was.

We felt it here in Indy.
Hanging lights were shaking the bed shook a little bit. It might have been the dogs trying to get under the bed though.

Me either, though I was asleep and in bed. My mom and dad felt it down in the NW Chicago burbs, though.

Strange. I didn't feel a thing here.

FWIW, they revised it down to 5.2.

I'm southwest of Chicago, and I slept through it, probably thanks to a deep rumbling fan I keep on at night anyways.
