An ebay mishap. Could 'ave had a DD-20...

Hi guys.

I ordered a Boss DD-20 about two/two and a half months ago. The thing got lost in the mail. I didn't ask for it to be insured or to add a tracking no. (which is more or less Ebay standard, these days).

Since the guy just got married, it appears his finances are tight, and unfortunate at this time. He was originally going to refund my money. He's currently out of town and I'm stuck playing Email tag with his wife, who's taken over the situation. She's offered me a list of guitar pedals (I can pick two) in place of a refund. I checked them out and came to the conclusion that I wouldn't have any use for them, so I asked her for a refund. She then said she checked Ebay and says that since I didn't insure the package, they have no obligation to give me a refund. So now I'm stuck picking out of a Boss Tremolo, Guitar Equalizer, Compression Sustainer, Acoustic Simulator, and Tuner. I just now told her I'd take the Tremolo and Equalizer (They're the most expensive). I guess I'm going to have to turn around and sell them on Ebay again. It turns out that SHE was the one that shipped the package and didn't put a tracking # on it. This all could have been avoided if she'd have done that.

I'm a little aggravated.

Andrew
