It effects what I wear on gigs - black t, jeans, Converse or white Sambas - but that's about it.

Yeah, but if it's a high-profile gig I don't roll a cuff on the legs of my jeans. Gotta have standards.

I've been thinking about dressing in a bear skin shirt, leather vambraces, and a viking helmet since Enslaved is one of my favorite bands lately.

Why shouldn't I? Guys who like country/western dress like cowboys all the time....

I want to wear an outfit on stage that consists of me looking like a wildebeest mixed with a wookie. Possibly some large platformed boots to give me extra height. They must look like hooves though. What does my style tell you about the music I want to play?

I will call myself... The WildeWookie

EDIT: Maybe a wildebeest, yak, wookie thing... Then I will be known as the WildeYakie.. (WildeYookie? WildeWookayak? YakaWildeWook?)

Hm...

I don't think music has had much of an effect on what I wear, except during gigs. I usually wear my "I'm With the Band" t-shirt since most gigs I've played were at bars or other informal venues.

One time the two bands I played in decided to play one after the other at a block party, so I wore my "I'm With the Other Band" t-shirt that day. They got a kick out of that.

Agree with Muaguana. Always been preppy myself, though I play and listen(ed) mostly to metal. During the gigs I had when active, I did dress more metal-y, though I never did during practice or else.

My music slightly influences the way I dress. Most people don't know what to classify me as in dark blue pants and a white coat (or vice versa). I listen to alot of RUssian music, and can normally be found with a russian coca cola or harley davidson shirt...

Heavy metal boy and my wardrobe is a sea of black, although I have always only worn black from when I was a kid. My mum used to hate it, although she used to joke that at least I was always ready for a funeral.

Usually I wear band t shirts, if not that then plain black t shirts. Dressed up is anything with buttons lol

It really doesn't mean much. If you met me you'd never know I was into punk or heavy metal.

However I wear a wristband that says Slipknot in red letters.
But, I wear it only cuz I use it to hide a birthmark that grows hair so that is neither here nor there.

Doesn't have much of an effect on my clothing style. If you saw me on a "good day" you'd probably think I mostly listened to rap, R&B and maybe a lil bit of indie rock .
