I make medical training kits for nursing colleges. I would say I am a rather vital part in the emergency service process.

Certified EMT at age 18. Never worked it as a job or officially volunteered, but I keep current for use when the occasion requires.

It's a disgrace how many people die every year in medical emergencies, surrounded by bystanders who do just that-- stand by and watch helplessly.

OIC, so it's all a big reach-around. I get it.

Did 7 years as a firefighter. I miss the work and the action quite a bit actually but the politics of it all are unbearable.

My wife is an EMT/Ski Patrol.

I'm a lawyer. I always seem to be dealing with emergencies at work. Does that count?

I'm a paramedic and I've done it on and off since 1987.

I've actually been thinking of joining the volunteer fire fighters. But I fear I'm too old for it (34).
I went ot a firefighters cert. course in the military. So I guess I have some training. Although the class was only a few days.
