+1 to the "awesomeness" of this thread.

</3 | Only if the sobbing tears, for the hairs that you are removing, causes your hand to shake thus cutting yourself. |

| | *******er Emeritus(does anyone remember that? No?) | | Join Date: Apr 2000 Location: Houston, Texas | | I like some emo. In fact, I'm listening to Fairweather right now. Wait, you've never heard of Fairweather? They broke up before they ever could make their big break.
Just kidding. I'm not a stereotypical crybaby.
Still Life, Mineral, The Promise Ring, Sunny Day Real Estate, Bright Eyes, The Get Up Kids, Saves The Day, early Dashboard Confessional.....I know I'm missing a bunch. Of course, a lot of debate goes with what really is and isn't emo, and there's non-emo bands with emo albums...Weezer's "Pinkerton" and Finch's "What It Is To Burn" immediately come to mind.
Notice most of the bands I listed no longer exist or don't play that kind of music anymore. This current wave of emo is missing the dynamics of late 90s/early 2000s emo.
