So last Friday, I got an e-mail from one of the partners at the firm I left at the end of the year, saying that an architectural school in town needed a geology teacher ... starting Monday! (today). So I got on the phone, gave them a call, e-mailed a list of some of my qualifications, and taught the first class today. It's going to be a lot of fun, and it'll get me out of the house a few extra hours a week. It'd keep me in beer money (if I drank beer), but you never know what may pop up.

As long as he stays away from nuclear devices and fridges of course. |

lowsound | I did about three hours of prep for my 1.5 hour class. I had to re-learn everything I learned 35 years ago. I ended the class with five minutes to spare, and let 'em go. Students love that.
