What's the best menhir for metal?

Just for a touch of reality and other such nonsense, the 12/21/2012 date was conceived by 2 new age authors in the 1970s...

Contary to many reports there are still Mayans in the same areas of Mexico where they always were. Not as many and certainly not as dominant, but still there.

And the Mayans aren't expecting the world to end on 12/21/2012.

While true, this 'fact' is actually irrelevant because the Mayan calendar is an entirely different system - it didn't need to account for leap years (they had their own correction methods). Mathematically, their system is slightly more accurate than our own Gregorian.

Actually if you believe the world will end on Friday then go max out your credit card and buy as much as you can ... and then when you wake up on Dec 22nd you will have to return it all.

I have flight plans for the 21st. If the world comes to an end it may be difficult to find a place to land.

Me too, but what's a good song to play when the apocalypse comes? Any suggestions?

Prince's 1999. That was good enough for the last apocalypse.

In reply to all who took my post seriously, I don't believe it's going to end on Friday. It was just a little something to lighten the mood a bit, considering this past week's happenings.

Hey ... you will be OK until you run out of fuel.

I guess the guys on the space station would last the longest ... until they ran out of air.
