I'll be too busy celebrating Frank Zappa's birthday to notice the world ending.

Slightly more accurate? It's incredibly accurate compared to the Gregorian.

Yes, it's only Wikipedia, but I've had grad level Latin American Prehistory, so I understand this to be quite accurate:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mesoame...Count_calendar

There certainly are Mayan's (Yucatec being the proper term, not some ancient white colonial assh**e term) in Mexico that are trying to revitalize the religious beliefs and language of their ancestors.

Please, go read an anthropology text on this, and stop spreading misinformation. For every person that gets that it isn't true, theres probably five that are dumb enough to believe it. Don't make them dumber, please.

"Latin American Prehistory"? What's the "Pre" for? History is history. Adding a "pre" to it is rather redundant.

I was supposed to get my second audition for my first band after christmas... which is kind of a pisser if the world is going to end. For the sake of clarity, will the actual earth disintigrate (end) or is it all the people are going to die... or dissapear... go to be with jesus. Will the upper primates be taken along, or the lower humans left behind... If we all go to be with jesus, can we take our gear? I don't want to go to heaven and find out all they have are harps.

Wait a minute... do they make bass harps?

The meaning that it's the end of the world is just an interpretation that some modern day idiots put on it.

I think I am going to not go to the bathroom until Dec 22nd. That'll be kinda tough, but also pretty cool I think. I'll just gut it out.

Then I'll let loose all over the new world.

Oh wow, I didn't even notice that! How cool is that? I'll definitely be wearing my FZ shirt that day!

HAHAHAHA. Yeah, cause a society that old should have had the ability to heal themselves from disgusting, infected Spaniards, right? With an immune system that wasn't capable? It had nothing to do with their intelligence. They had one of the greatest civilisations this world has ever known.

I have a gig scheduled that night as well. Now the real question is, should I practice for it or not?

Ah! I see what you did there!

Five hundred years ago! But the prediction was very vague, and I can't prove it was me who made it, or what it meant (as it was written in a code). But it's totally legit

Of course. What's the point of dying onstage if you're not in top shape?
