Well...his vertabrae did, anyway. According to his posts on Facebook, Eric Perry was involved in an accident yesterday that totaled his car and fractured one of his vertabrae.

Heal quickly, Eric!

What? It's a serving suggestion. They should have a picture of a sixpack on the side of the bottle of vicodin.

No word on Lemmiwinks, but I'm figuring that wherever he specifically was, I'm sure he was well insulated and cushioned from the impact....

At any rate - GET WELL SOON. Healing vibes heading your way, dude!

The impact sent Lemmiewinks right where he can do his part in repairing Eric.

I bet the police investigation will find foul play on the part of one vengeful gerbil.

Seriously though. Your back is nothing to mess with. Wishing him well.

Thank you, everyone! Yeah I'm a little busted up. VERY sore all over, and my back hurts really bad in one spot, about midway up. Barely got out of bed today. Thankfully, the accident was NOT my fault, and the state troopers documented it as such. The other driver was cited for not yielding to traffic and reckless driving. So hopefully, there won't be too many surprises in dealing with the insurance mess that is sure to unravel.

I am incredibly unhappy that the car is gone. This is the best car I've ever owned, even compared to my old Lexus RX300. Just as loaded with options, and far fewer problems!

I had the towing company send me a few pics so I could forward them to my insurance company, so here are before and after shots...

Before...

After

Come on, you know you can't put a picture of a six-pack on the side of a hot tub.

Sure you can.

Even better, however, would be to set the 6-pack in a cooler near the hot tub...right next to a bottle of Vicodin.

Looking at your car, Eric, I'd say you did okay not to be hurt worse. Back injuries are trouble. Do any and all therapy they recommend.
