It looks like even the people who write news stories for Auntie Beeb aren't too hot with their English these days. Spot the clanger. They've made it easier to notice by doing it twice.

By the way, the Beeb make mistakes regularly. I emailed them the other day to explain that a pay rise for Indian MP's from (something like) 20,000 rupees to 60,000 rupees was not an increase of 300% as they had printed! |
