Unhappy the everlasting headache

Sign in to disble this ad
the summers here are crazy hot, today was 47C temp (max) and its getting unbearable because i have to go out a bit everyday. but i dont know why i have got this serious headache all the time, i am drinking a lot of water and taking in electrolytes too. am not out in the sun a lot and am eating the usual too. but am feeling ill and my head feels like a brick all the time. its been two days, i have been sleeping and living with this headache.
because of this am not able to do much at all, if i speak a bit or listen to any noise the headache just gets insane. i dont feel like watching tv or using the computer, see i havent even posted in days!
i spoke to the family doc on the phone and he just said i should drink more water but i think i would need to go and see him but i have a feeling he will blame it on the heat outside and not have a cure. anyone has any suggestions?

Do you drink enough water? In those temperatures, you need a lot of water, upwards of five liters a day (and much, much more when doing physical labour). You need more water than your thirst.

Edit: found this:

Do you sleep enough? Not sleeping enough can give the worst headaches.

Want to trade? It's only 2°C here today. What's the point of living 5 minutes from the beach when it's freezing? I love the heat.

Is this unusually hot, like another indication of Global warming, or is it just a normal hot April?

Do you have long or very thick hair? I know it sounds nuts but in the summers here it can get up to 35-38C, and I absolutely have to keep my hair cut short otherwise it drives me crazy - my scalp itches, I sweat like crazy and I'll have headaches that drive me nuts. If my hair's short it totally disappears.

Never said for the ice to go in the drink....

Depends on the cider, some I like with ice, some without.

Is it a migraine? Sometimes my migraines are triggered by extreme heat and/or humidity.
