Everyone: Thank Two TBers Of Your Choice

There are tons of helpful cats here on TB. Everyone take a minute and thank at least two of them right now.

bongomania and KJung- both Cyrus and Ken are excellent guys we're lucky enough to have around in the Effects and Amps forums, and nearly every question I've had in those forums over the past year (or more) were addressed by both of them no matter how inane or silly they were. Both really nice and knowledgable guys. Thanks to both of you!

I'm thanking three: Hollowbassman, Louieeadg and TheBigO. You guys are funny enough that I urinate myself frequently when reading your posts. People are right. Laughter really is the best aphrodisiac.

Mike

IMO it's not a club unless you receive newsletters or it comes with turkey and cheese.

I'd thank quite a few. In no particular order:

Tom Bowlus for his hospitality at B3, Ken Jung for his insights and opinions on gear, Mikebass for his great chops and overall decent human being and that goes for a bunch of folks I met at B3. Munjibunga for his insights but also for having the best name ever. Ed Fuqua over on the DB side for his information on gigging a few years back as well as his insights into playing jazz. I'm using the word insight a lot . . . .

Bongomania for his help with compressors and what he does in effects.

I also would like to be the first to thank spankypants. His humour has made my days much better. he is truely a nice young feller, and his knowledge and reviews and all that fun stuff makes GAS easier to get.

And thanks to Paul. he owns.

It's not a club unless it comes with meat. Where do you think they got the name from? You only have to pick a vegetable to eat it. The club was for when you couldn't quite convince a turkey to jump into your sandwich.....

+1 ...but replace "Hollowbassman" with "Mike_v_s", ....and leave out the bladder control problems and the possibly homoerotic last sentence!

So that's a "no", then?

Mike

I'd like to thank the guys at Extreme Youth Combat for introducing me to a truly beautiful sport. I'm now actively in the process of building a new training center and making a run for the championship belt.
