Went and saw Evil Dead the Musical last night. It was freaking epic. Blood was spurted into the crowd. Deadites were chainsawed to their end. There was even singing and dancing. If you get a chance to see it, I wouldn't pass it up, if you're into that sort of thing. The story is basically Evil Dead 2, with some various lines and themes from the other two movies.
P.S. the fake blood that got on me smelled like laundry detergent. weird.

I (of course) was the only one who had seen all the movies (several times) and was howling with laughter at the lines but everyone really enjoyed the show even if they weren't in on all the "subtleties" of the Evil Dead saga.
Highly recommended if you can find a production! |
