All of the guys do it, but Vettel is relatively infrequent. Hamilton and Alonso are the guys who are way up on the whining scale.
Although nobody is worse than Casey Stoner in MotoGP. | I've been following F1 Since the Wee Scot was driving a Tyrell! Yes, I know that Webber used to moan a lot, but he's matured. I don't even like the Red Bull team, but any guy who can throw up in his helmet and keep racing is OK in my book.
Though I think that Vettel whines a lot more than you think he does (not to mention that there's just something about his face that pisses me off), I will agree with you that Hamilton is the worst crybaby on the grid. As a Tifoso, I will adamantly deny that Alonso ever whines about anything.

They all whine, but Seb is far, far faaaaaaar from the worst. I think it's the thing about his face that you don't like that makes you "hear" it more. |

Hotel prices at just about every location go way up during the F1 weekend. In Monaco, Turkey, Montreal, etc, it can be 3x normal prices (2005-7 Turkey it was like 8x). |

It has nothing to do with popularity so much as exploiting the traveling populace. I'm willing to bet they'll follow suit, having noted that everyone else does it (though hopefully to a lesser extent). |

Certainly some of the folks in the area of the track will be impacted but the media loves to exploit the issue. But this will likely be another success like SXSWhat & Austin City Limits Fest and not a Manor Downs bust. Hell these folks bitched about the new Airport that was much needed. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
