fabric paint(ing)

i bought a couple of fabric paint 15ml bottles to write some funky stuff on some of my plain boring t-shirts.
in the instructions it says "before painting remove starch"
whats with this? i would be painting on cotton clothes
any would be great

well, presuming you know what starch is, if your shirt is starched, just wash & dry it before you apply the paint.
