Holy ****.

What's amazing is that the building fell over, yet somehow stayed in one piece!

Who would have guessed that the techniques that made them the world leaders in yo-yos, happy meal toys and fake vomit wouldn't carry over to their architectural endeavors?

Or maybe it did. Maybe that whole building was made in a plastic mold with fake facades attached.

That is unreal though. I hope no one was hurt or killed.

Hi.

Well, my friend just came back from a trip to the Mainland China and told me that they had the worst flood in 10 years.

In many places the water rose over 4 meters he told me.

If the pics are recent, and if they didn't anticipate the flooding during the construction, a structural collapse like in the pics is more than likely.

Regards
Sam

Not the first time i've seen/heard of a building falling over in China. Or maybe it was japan last one i heard/saw about. It's something to do with the ground, makes for a bad foundation or something. I don't really know what I'm talking about because I can't remember what I heard/saw.

Might just be the perspective, but one of those other buildings looks like it belongs in Pisa...

Not surprising. Look how shallow the pilings were sunk.
