'Fair Use Guidelines For Educational Multimedia' VS. Copywright Infringement

I don't know much about copyright laws, but I just heard about this and am wondering if it's legit in this context...

MarloweDK (that youtube guy with a billion videos) started his own website called 'You Play Along!', and put this in the 'about' section:

-------------------------------------
The use of this copyrighted material is under the guidelines of Fair Use in Title 17 and 107 of the United States code.

Such material remains the copyright of the original holder and is used here for the purposes of education, comparison, and criticism only.

No infringement of copyright is intended.

And please, I don't want to hear your opinion on the ethics or morality of copyright material being used in playalongs, youtube...etc. I just want to know if MarloweDK is in the right here, from a legal standpoint. Because I really have no idea.
