I am really not even sure why I'm posting this.

I normally bottle things up until I either crack or I break something.

I recently heard that a dear family member my Moma Lou my Grandpa's cousin passed away not even 1 mile from my house at Christian Care Center and I wasn't there. She had a hand at raising me and I remember visiting my dad at work and drawing her pictures and one day she took a flower I drew her and hung it from the wall.

It stayed by her I was told even after the plumbing business closed down she was a wonderful lady.

She was very atheltic in her life she was about 6 ft and went to church every Sunday of her life even when diagnosed with cancer and chemo treatments making her weak.

I admit I am not the saint she thought I was but, I was always hers and she was one of mine. Along with her Aunt Made Green my Great Grandma who oddly enough died in the same building Christian Care Center.

I'm going to the Funeral tommorrow to pay my respects please pray for me and please everyone tell your loved ones you love them everytime you see them cause it could be the last time.

Sorry for your loss. I was here in NJ when my mom passed in San Diego - it's hard to not be there for the final farewells... But from what you've said I'm sure she knew how much she meant to you. Best wishes for attending the funeral, too. Don't be ashamed to shed a tear or two if you need to.
