My wife cooks fresh food every night and I'm not too bad either. My weakness is sugar and caffiene. It's best I stay away from both becuase I have problems with moderation. I have learned to bake with complex carbs, but I am thinking of dropping that too. I had my own bakery called "Sugar Me Not" at one point.
I'm still very active at 60 most people thing I'm not a day over 59, probably because I'm emotionally immature. Take a look at the old guy playing the bass.

Getting prepared now by making a doctor's appointment and making grocery lists etc. The good news is there is a huge farmers market walking distance from my house where we get organic produce at good prices, especially if you buy in bulk. I will try and be honest here. and write about how it goes.
I think the harderst part will be withdrawing from caffiene.

If your caffeine consumption is anything like mine it'll hurt bad enough by itself. Last time I quit caffeine I went from 8-10 big mugs full to one in the morning for a transition week to nothing and it was probably a month before I was even 80% as productive and functional. Tired, irritable, couldn't focus. That *and* a major dietary change ... no way.

| | | | Great film. After watching it I started juicing myself but I did so in moderation. I would make a batch of a slightly modified version of his kale based recipe. It would make 30 to 40 ounces. I sold drink half for breakfast half for lunch a healthy snack when I got hungry and a normal dinner. The first week was tough but after that I felt better than I ever have. I completely kicked coffee while doing this and had a great amount of energy. I kept it up for about 6 months until a short vacation broke the habit. I haven't been able to build the routine back in but I really wish I could.
Advice: Buy as many of the ingredient organic as you can. Force feeding your cells pesticides is a bad idea and non-organically grown produce is not as nutritionally beneficial as organic produce. I believe I was spending between $10-15 a day while I was doing it.
Good luck! |

This morning I had a Kale smoothie, (Kale, greek yogurt, raw almonds, pineapple and mango) and a pot of tea. On my way for espresso.
