Oddly enough... i HAVE had ours, Maryland: Smith Island Cake!
I spent a few weeks on Smith Island years ago doing some wetland research and i had that cake. It was re-diculous how decadent it was. My slice was super small and i don't even think i finished it all...

Louisiana: HELL YES! Food of the ghodz, especially with a good cup of CDM coffee after a night of too much drinking in the 'Quarter.
Florida: definitely, excellent stuff.
North Carolina: not in a million years, that looks NASTY.

In Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisania I can think of lots of stuff that's fattier than bacon wrapped meat loaf, Mississippi mud pie, or bengets. That's practically diet food. |

Back in the day, there used to be a sticker with "In-n-Out" on the top line and "Burger" on the bottom line. People used to cut the "B" and "r" off the bottom line!
You can actually get a grilled cheese at In-n-Out. It's on the "secret menu"! |

The Fat Darrell Sandwich is just one of many, many fat sandwichs (The Fat Philippino has to be fattier cause it costs an extra 50cents since it has so much fried food on it) served by techno loving Arabs with fog machines out of trucks (plastered with photos of half nude co-eds) day and night. They call 'em the "Grease Trucks" and they are all parked in a lot off College ave. in New Brunswick (Rutgers). |

As far as fat content, how can you top cracklin's? They are deep fried pork skins with a good layer of fat still attatched.

That Maine lobster roll pales in comparison to a proper one served hot, drenched in butter.

I've shared one with two other people. It was tasty delicious, but I was so full that we didn't move for an hour. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
