Favorite 80s TV shows

Sign in to disble this ad
So I did a search and couldn't find anything on old TV shows from the 80s.

I'd have to include-
The Cosby Show
Sanford and Son
Magnum PI

As my top 3. I'm blanking right now so I'll probably add more later.

Your turn.

Boi....

You don't even know what the 80's smelled like

Cosby Show
Family Matters
Different World
Married With Children, though I guess that may be more of a 90's sitcom

Cartoons -
Muppet Babies
Ninja Turtles
Inspector Gadget
Maya the Bee
Eureka's Castle

Family Matters is a good one.
As for a different world, the only redeeming quality of that show for me was Dwayne Wayne, and an appearance by 2pac.

I thought Sinbad was great. And you can not, not, NOT leave out Marisa Tomei and Cree Summer.

Glynn Turman is one of my all-time favorite actors

Pretty sure I remember an episode of the Cosbys with Sinbad playing a car salesman.

Can't say I've seen that one; I highly recommend to all of you Sinbad's standup called "Afros & Bellbottoms." You'll be in tears, and a bonus for a good ol' square boy like me: no swearing!

here you go

http://www.retrojunk.com/

in the early 80's i was in germany, my dad served in the army as ground to air artillery but my mom said i loved one cartoon it was german dubbed Mr. T cartoon.

ADD: my mom told me awhile back that i didnt watch a lot of cartoons because i did not like them all that much, i loved commercials though, i loved the muppets and sesame st. she said i played with my toys and they made me go outside in the yard or play with other kids. TV watching was mostly at night. even Saturdays i was outside instead of watching cartoons (i was 10 when i started watching Saturday morning cartoons).

^ Taxi was great show, I forgot about that one.

Anyone remember "Soap"? It was a late night soap opera parody that was funny as heck.

The first season of Greatest American Hero.
It went downhill in a hurry.

Look at what's happened to me
I can't believe it myself.
Suddenly I'm up on top of the world
Should have been somebody else.
Believe it or not I'm walking on air
I never thought I could feel so free
Flying away on a wing and a prayer
Who could it be?
Believe it or not it's just me...

Taxi was awesome.

Soap, where Billy Crystal got his big break as the gay son.
I will never forget the scene with the macho cowboy his sister is dating where Crystal says, "well, we can't be that different. We shop at the same stores."
or something close to that.
