My favorite styles of beer are porter, belgian abbeys or tripples and dunkelweizens, though its hard to find good examples of the last one stateside. Pyramid had one on tap in the Sacramento brewhouse as a seasonal that was pretty good.

If I had to pick one specific beer I'd say right now its either Anchor Porter or Stone's Oaked Bastard, though I'm sure that will change as it continues to get warmer.

I'm a fan of Goose Island beers. Out of theirs-my favorites are: Robert Burns Scottish Ale, Honkers Ale, and 312.

Others that i enjoy: Sprecher-Special Amber & Black Bavarian, Fat Tire, Blue Moon, and Dos Equis (XX).

For cheap beer-Miller Lite works.
