Since Halloween is almost upon us I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone's favorite, and/or best/worst horror movies made are.

So many good flicks, and so many bad ones, too many to count

So many good flicks, and so many bad ones, too many to count | The Descent 2 takes off were The Descent ends and is really good except the the absolutely stupid ending. Ignore the last 2 minutes and it's a winner.

Fun fact--according to popular legend, Martin Scorsese and George Romero are both huge fans of The Red Shoes. If I remember correctly, Scorsese went to rent the film (this was back when you had to rent the actual reels of film), and it was checked out. A befuddled Scorsese asked the place to check who'd rented it, and it was some guy named, yup, George Romero. |

The Orphanage (LOVE this one....could be my all-time fave.)

European - stuck in the darkness losing her mind.
American - escapes and sees Juno's ghost in the SUV
Unrated - both mixed together
I prefer the European ending.
Part 2 has her escaping via underground waterways.

And I've only seen the Unrated version. |

Part 2 has her escaping via underground waterways. | The version I saw seems to have been a mixed one then. You saw her escaping, but then she woke up to being still in the caves/going mental. I didn't realise there was different endings, which is a shame, I thought the ending I saw was pretty well done.
