Probably the only holiday that Hallmark hasn't completely ruined.

I still gotta say Christmas. I'm only 17, but the whole gift idea of Christmas has sort of worn out now that the only things I really want are bass gear, and that I have my own job to get random stuff like video games.

There's just somethin about it... maybe the memories?

They've found they can't ruin it so they're trying to overtake it with Christmas. ABC Family is doing a countdown to the 25 days of Christmas, essentially adding 15 days onto their already too long-to-be-sane countdown.

They haven't ruined my favorite... July 4th - Independence Day. My second favorite is Halloween.

4th of July.
Warm weather, no presents to buy, casual dining. I mean, come on.

Christmas. I like the peacefulness of the holiday and to meet people in my family in a relaxed atmosphere.

Midsummer is a nice holiday too, but shorter and therefore more stressful.

We don't celebrate thanksgiving here. Halloween is celebrated by the younger generation, but only as an excuse for partying and dressing up in strange costumes. It's not a family holiday around here.

I love the Christmas season, but the day itself is usually pretty boring. From the day after thanksgiving to christmas eve, I very much enjoy that time of year. But it seems like once Christmas day actually arrives, it's done and over with and there is nothing to look forward to any time soon.
