Probably the only holiday that Hallmark hasn't completely ruined. |

There's just somethin about it... maybe the memories?

Warm weather, no presents to buy, casual dining. I mean, come on.

Midsummer is a nice holiday too, but shorter and therefore more stressful.
We don't celebrate thanksgiving here. Halloween is celebrated by the younger generation, but only as an excuse for partying and dressing up in strange costumes. It's not a family holiday around here.

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: NY | | | I love the Christmas season, but the day itself is usually pretty boring. From the day after thanksgiving to christmas eve, I very much enjoy that time of year. But it seems like once Christmas day actually arrives, it's done and over with and there is nothing to look forward to any time soon. |
