Who does the mighty off topic think is the best "Late Show" host?
I prefer Letterman, but I also watch Craig Ferguson on occasion. Never was much on Conan, not that it matters a the moment, and Leno is okay sometimes...

Letterman makes me laugh out loud sometimes, but more often it's Paul Schaeffer.
Conan has never made me laugh out loud, ever. Nor Leno. They're both just a little too pleased with themselves for my taste. Ferguson and Letterman both frequently make themselves the butt of their own jokes, and that humanizes them, I think.
Ferguson, although he is definitely on the wagon, retains a good deal of that lunatic drunk humor. He's just off the rails.

He's a freaking monster.

CoCo is pretty great.
Craig Ferguson is the best comedian of the lot though imo, especially with the whole drunk Scot thing he's got going on.

Until then I'll watch Craig Ferguson. I love how spastic his show is, like TV for people with A.D.D. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
