Well, it's that time of year again, time for all the random pumpkin flavored stuff to come out of hibernation. Of course there's the traditional stuff like pumpkin pie, which is awesome, but I have to say I like pumpkin fudge the best.

It's apple season around here right now and I have eaten some home made apple desert (pies, crumbles, ect) every day for the last two weeks. There is an apple tree in my yard that grows the best apples ever.
We have been putting up apples for the past two weeks and have at least another to go. Doesn't bother me none, I'll be eating apple pie in Febuary. I'm Livin' large, and loving it!
Pumpkins are just starting to come on the scene. I like the homade roasted pumpkin seeds. |

The pie is my favorite, but after that I love a pumpkin quickbread (tea bread, muffin in loaf shape) with chocolate chips inside. |

Also, i like to cut pumpkin up with potatoes, yams, and carrots and roast them for an hour or two, absolutely delicious. i just brought home a sugar pumpkin that will soon be in the oven... |
