For you Japan fans out there, what are your favourite anime series? I just finished watching Air Gear and enjoyed it quite a lot.

I hate to be dorky and admit this but I was hugely into Dragon Ball Z when I was younger. Cowboy Bebop was alright, but Dragon Ball Z was greeeaaaaaat I wanna watch it all again. I had all the subtitled tapes that I got from someone when I was in jr high I think.

I'd have to say Scrapped Princess. That or Twelve Kingdoms.

Ghost In The Shell, both the series and the two movies.

Somehow the choice of Death Note and Ouran host club should not surprise me, but it does.

HEIST, go to sleep. Canadians have to sleep too

I was a big fan of Dragon Ball Z back in middle school. I was also into Rurouni Kenshin, which I thought was amazing.

Hey now. Death Note was super cool until Viz Media liscenced it and now plays on YTV with poor dubbing and material cut off.

Oh man that anime was so intense.

Sleep is for the weak.

And I don't know what you're trying to imply.
Ouran High rocked.

Hands down.

I like to think of it as Cowboy Bebop and Trigun combined into one, and with GFR.

I really enjoyed Trigun and Cowboy Bebop, and FLCL for when I was in a surrealist mood.

Viz licensed pokemon too right? lol

I'm not implying anything

Personally, I thought you were going to say Fruits Basket, lol

I was president of anime club, and I used to tear posters in front of the kids. It was hilarious.

Fruits Basket?! That is way before my time. Before I became an asiaphile about 2 years ago that is. I want to check out Loveless. Any good? O, president of the anime club.

Couldn't sit through Chobits and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
Still need to finish Claymore.

Just because I was prez, doesn't mean I know everything about anime I hear that Loveless is popular though.

Why am I still up

I've been posting all day.

Death Note lost all of its credibility with me after L died... the second half of the manga was terrible IMO.

lol L dies? Finally. Every girl I talk to is googly-eyed for him, good riddance

Evangelion is good. Watched it during middle school / high school...when I was an angsty, misunderstood teenager who was cynical of the world. Other than that, it's like regular anime....gigantic robots, questionable relationships, etc etc.

Ha, little one? Ur the five foot bassist that wants to take up upright. I'm 5 feet 8 and I still couldn't handle a DB

I used to buy comics a lot. Thankfully, I don't do that anymore.

Wait...I thought I was talking to Meev992.

Dude, L was amazing. I worshipped the ground he walked on with his bare feet. I'm jealous of his sugar-ladden tea. I'd happily marry the man.

Er, I didn't think I'd have to worry about anime spoilers on a bass forum...

EDIT: I'm probably one of the 12 people in the world who hated Evangelion... 75% because of Shinji, 25% because I wasn't interested in the story.

Yes, but the man is fictional. At least when us perverted TBers ogle on babes with gigantic hoo-has, they're real ppl lol.

of course ur talking to me, I'm the only one up. I'm only up because I have to call my girlfriend and wake her up so she can do her AP calculus homework.

...this post stinks of epic-fail on my part lol.
