My mom makes chocolate chip cookies that are legendary- they probably kept me employed in my youth(she would bring trays of them to the bike shop where I worked). My wife makes no secret of the fact she married me largely for my mom's cookies- she also refers to them as *heroin*
She(mom)recently added white chocolate chips to her regular recipe- indescribable.
Macaroons are also nice.
I thought of this too, but my post does not entirely qualify; the words *my mom's cookies* & *store-bought* do not go together in my world. As for macaroons, the Nugget makes nice ones.
