Why people from America very rarely want to send a shipment to Europe?

It's not a fear of Europeans --most of you outclass us Americans-- we're just largely not fans of more cost outlay and higher risk of complications. |

Then, the calculation could be wrong, there could be hidden or unforseen charges, and the seller often gets stuck with it if the buyer refuses to help.
For most of us who don't do this for a living or with any degree of regularity, it's a gamble and a pain in the ass. Sorry to be so blunt, but you asked, and that's my answer.

The point of buying used gear is usually to save money, unless it is something rare or unique that can't be purchased new. |

Then, 1 buyer out of every 50 is international and wants the goods shipped to Germany or Japan or Venezuela and even though they agree to pay shipping, the whole process turns into something unpredictable, time consuming and expensive. Most of the regular shipping options we've gotten usedto disappear and the total cost can only be determined by actually going through the process of shipping it.
Sorry, but if there is one thing we Americans are known for these days, it's our addiction to doing things the easiest and laziest way possible and if you expect us to do an ounce more of work than is necessary, then you'll be disappointed.

| | | | I had a bass for sale on ebay once and even though it stated no Intl. shipping, A fella from south korea won the auction. He sent a shipping address, I had no idea how to read it let alone how to print it for shipping. I had to explain to him it just wasnt going to work, let alone the cost and time to fill out the proper paper work. |
