FedEx is WORST EVER

Sign in to disble this ad
in the last 2 weeks I have been shipped 2 basses through FedEx (trades 2 other TB'ers) & both times they have failed 2 del the day they said they would (said they had been 2 my home but no tag left, heck 2day I even put a sign on the gate saying 2 call me, w/my ph# on it if they couldn't get in gate) called the 800 line and had 2 go through 2-3 people to get to a supervisor (very rude) Can't believe how crappy they are. I understand they have lost alot of market share and I can understand why.
Without a doubt the WORST compant I have EVER dealt with!

I work in shipping and recieving in a warehouse and the guys we deal with from Fed-Ex are idiots. The guys from UPS are top notch, but this is just me expirience. I'm not bashing the company, but most just don't know how to handle/deliver packages.

I cringe whenever I find out a piece of gear is coming to me on FedEx,it means one of three things
1 it will be damaged
2 I will loose a day of work waiting for it
3 I will lose a second day of work because they didnt deliver on the day they said they were going to.

Did you get both basses in one piece? Wait until you don't, then these kinds of things won't seem so bad.

I have been shipping basses, reptiles and beer for years and have only ever had one issue with Fedex while I have had innumerable problems with UPS. I stopped using UPS entirely two years ago and have never had a problem during that time with Fedex.

I have yet to have any of those problems with Fedex, UPS is a different story altogether.

Just the opposite here, never a problem with UPS

I have had good luck with Fedex. But I would certainly understand your experience and put it off to idiots working there. No organization is immune from having idiots work for them and tarnish the company name.

UPS has broken multiple boxes of beer, completely lost two shipments of snakes and misplaced another so long that they were dead on arrival. Never had that issue with Fedex, thankfully.

Hey...what's your deal with the word "to"?

is it that hard to type 2 letters, that you feel the need to use a digit?

(hahaha)

Type it...don't text it....we are not confined to 140 characters here.

Been using FedexGround for the last 5 years or so. Have shipped at least 10 basses, 4 or 5 cabs and other misc. items. Not one single issue! Have received items from Fedex, FedexGround, UPS and USPS. Only one issue and that was due to piss poor packing by the shipper (A TB'r. In fact I was really shocked at how poor the packing was done!). Sorry had to point out it was a TB'r. While some of y'all have very good feedback, some of y'all couldn't pack a lunchbag if your life depended on it!

I had UPS do the same thing to me this week, I was here, saw the truck drive right on by, later that day the tracking said I wasn't home and they'll try tomorrow.

Flip a coin, they both have drivers and other employees that are just like you and I, sometime ya just don't give a S***. Especially on Friday lol.

If these two very minor issues make FedEx the worst company you have ever dealt then you must have led a very charmed life. Obviously your experience with FedEx completely overshadows issues like oil companies killing indigenous peoples and polluting our oceans and land or the many other atrocities commuted by multinational corporations on a daily basis. I can sympathize with the agonizing pain and suffering the slight delay in delivery must have caused you but dude seriously look at what you are saying.

From my experience FedEx has been much more reliable than UPS.
