The last 10 minutes or so were as intense as anything I have ever seen on a soccer field.

2nd biggest win in US footie....(1950)

Oh and Tim Howard is the Juggernaut. I'm convinced. |

Where's Germany, Argentina, France? |

Where's Germany, Argentina, France? | It's a small tournament on purpose. The schedule is too crowded to make it any bigger. It's the winner of the 6 international confederations, the current World Cup Holder (Italy) and the host country (South Africa).
It's purpose is for a dry run for the hosts of the coming World Cup; to see that stadiums, ticket distribution, transportation, etc. get a workout before the big event.
It's meaning will vary depending on the team. The US has never won a World Final for example, and now has an opportunity. Italy and Spain will be disappointed, but have their eyes on a bigger prize.
