I was going to have £10 on an England v Germany final, not so sure now, Germany have had a couple of injuries. I might have £5 on The USA's flight home after the first round to be disrupted by volcanic ash.

Alright, some content.

I just finished watching argentina's last official match prior to the world cup, Argentina beat Canada 5-0. I tell you, Argentina has a huge offensive power, I'm sure whoever plays against us will be a bit scared of that.
On the other hand, our defense...

It's a computer game they release yearly

(I'm already resigned to the fact we aren't going to go anywhere in this, we never do, but I don't care for football so it's all good )

You used to have a "crappy" team in the last WC too, but wait ... you ended up being the champs.

Just like NBA, offense wins games, defense wins championships.

No thank you. It looks like a rip off of hockey for countries where it is too hot for ice.

And hockey has less Oscar award competition. Namely, who is best at dropping on the ground holding their knee and crying like some kind of lawn fairy in order to draw the foul.

The last WC was simply atrocious,as an italian I don't think Italy should've won...it was an extremely lucky shot.

I would be happy if the US can advance to the second round of the knockout stage
