For the record, the opening guitar riff to his first track "prelude bombfare" is from the original Final Fantasy - which I still own.

It had better be an improvement over 12. That was the most over-indulgent, overhyped, glutted with pointless crap game I have ever played. And the characters were awful. And the ending. What. The. Crap.

6 is GOD TIER. If anything I'd like to see that re-released. It was the best example of RPG storytelling in the series, which, IMO, is the point of RPG's.

I thought 9's story was great too until the end. Then it just got weird.

6 and 10 have the best stories in the franchise IMO

Ugh, I couldn't even get near the end, just terrible.......

I'm mainly pissed that they tried to turn it into a single player version of a MMORPG, seriously, ***.........

Holy crap you actually finished that game? maybe I should put another attempt into that game and beat it. I'm a bit glued to Chrono Trigger on DS right now.

Ya know... i actually liked 12. But from a total gameplay point of view. The story was crap and none of the carachters, except maybe Fran, were memorable.

I have been digging the DS remakes of 3 and 4 though.

I've been a die-hard FF fan for evs. Still have the original on NES as well as 2 & 3 on SNES (4 & 6). Haha i even cos-played as Amarant from FF9 (the most underrated game in the series) at an anime convention years ago.

FF games are usually the catalyst that prompts me to buy a new system... bought the PS1 when ff7 came out... PS2 when ff10 came out... i may have to buy a 360 or ps3 when 13 comes out now too!
