Cell phones help create behaviors that are harming our society. Less human interaction, killing people while texting while driving, ADD, cell yell, rude usage in public places etc...
While you are right, it is the user, I can't help but feel that cellphones are a BIG problem. It's invaded my daily life, and many times each day I find myself getting angry about a cellphone for one reason or another. And I know I'm not the only one.
