Finally, a PS3!

That's right guys, after 3 years of deciding whether or not to buy it, I Kenneth, have bought one.

Kendren6 is my PSN, and i have no trophies. For a week or so, it looks like im going to be running some demos, but what games do you think I should buy? I like shooters, racing, fun stuff. NO mindless grinding/killing games.

And M.A.G. looks amazing. That ***** going to be so intense when it comes out.

Also, where can i sign up for Beta's?

I'd only want a PS3 for one game, Metal gear solid 4.

And I really really want it, but I won't be buying a PS3 just for that.

The new EA NHL10 is supposed to be sick!!! 09 was really good, but a little anemic, this one is supposed to have along the wall scrums and you can put better pressure the D in the corners. Also more realistic between the whistle stuff, face-washing etc. Also 1st person fighting perspective.

I knew EA was staying away from that stuff becuase it promotes (for better or worse) the more negative aspects of the game, but it takes away from the realism. It's about time EA let their balls drop.

Ive been playing Resident Evil V a lot recently, cool game but no more merchant ***?!
I aslo play alot of GTA IV to releive the tension and to keep me from killing my boss.

UPDATE:

I've borrowed a few games from my friend. MGS4 and resistance 1 and 2 more which i shall not name

AND, guess what? I can't play them. My brother has the TV hostage and I can't use it. That means the PS3 remains IDOL on my bedroom floor. This BLOWS

He's there, watching it. He also sleeps right by it. Frig. He won't let me use the Good computer either.
Tomorrow's garbage day. I may just have to go curb hunting.

That or the free section in CL and Kijiji. Though most of the free tv's are quite a drive from me.

MGS4 is the only thing I'd want a PS3 for. But I already beat the game, so now I don't need one

Killzone 2 is beautiful, though, I don't know if it's a good SP game. I only played the multiplayer which was alright but I'd rather play TF2 or somesuch.

If you plan on buying a TV you should seriously consider an HDTV. First time I went through MGS4 on a SDTV I couldn't even figure how many bullets I had left! I remember also having a hard time playing BF:Bad Company.

Well at least when you're done with MGS 4 you can sell the PS3 and buy a Wii and Xbox.

Yeah I'm pretty much a foaming at the mouth nintendo fan boy.
Sony has not been getting alot of support this time around there aren't a whole lot of killer exclusive games out.

Sony = meh in my opinion on the games front.

Xbox has the best games titles. Even though the hardware may not be up to par with the PS3 it makes up for it in great games.

Sorry, I had to say it...

Sony does have some good fighting and racing games though, if that is what you are into (Which I'm not personally). Good luck finding the good ones out of the bunch.
