Finding an Apartment

Sign in to disble this ad
So, I'm going to be in Lawrenceville, GA for the summer for an internship and I need to find a place to live in the next 2 weeks.

I've been emailing a bunch of people on craigslist and apartment complexes around the area. The biggest problem is finding something furnished that will do a 3 month lease.

Ideas?

best of luck. with that time frame and your terms you may have to take what you can get. you might want to consider simply boarding with someone.

Go there.

edit: BTW, I've had friends/family who have lived at Alexander Mill and The Overlook. Not bad at all.

I have a similar situation with a 3-month job coming up for the summer. Got a cheap unfurnished room from a student apartments through the local student housing office, and will be taking some of my furniture and/or getting cheap 2nd hand stuff from thrift store.

that's not a bad idea. I'll check with a few local universities and see if they have any room to rent for the summer.

The problem I find with many apartments, is that they are not furnished and renting some would put it over my budget as well as the fact that they don't have such short term leases.
