Fire in My Town, Two Firefighters Killed

There was a major fire in the small town, 6000 people, that I am from today. Four department responded and two of the firefighters were killed when the roof collapsed.

It is so sad to read these stories. Respect to those fallen heroes, who were volunteers, and best wishes to their families.

I just found out that my fiancée knows one of the fallen firefighters. Man, I wish I could be there for her right now.

Edit: I just saw their pictures on the news and I knew the one firefighter as well, I went to high school with him.

Okay, turns out I didn't go to high school with him, I know him from the gym. I was getting him confused with someone else.

Hate to hear this. Father is a retired firefighter and brother-in-law is currently so these stories always hit pretty close to home. Heroes for sure.
