OK I need some help on this one.
My laptop pretty much stopped running the old Firefox and so I decided to finally upgrade to the FF3 version.
But now I'm having some real bother with it. If I have more than two tabs open, like if I'm listening to any streaming site, then the streaming content will keep jamming, stopping to buffer or even randomly skipping back to the start.
I also can't install the Serbian and French dictionaries onto my spell checker so I can't check any posts in Serbian (on other forums I use anyway) or French sites, or add accents/diacritics to words.
Has anyone got any ideas how I can solve this? It's becoming irritating to say the least.

I'm sorry, someone had to say it...

-Tools, Add-ons, Extensions, Disable, Disable, Disable etc.
If that doesn't improve things, try creating and running with a new profile.
There are instructions here: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Profiles
- basically on Windows, from the command line run: firefox -p
You'll have to be in the firefox program directory if its not in your path. |

Otherwise, I like it. I don't notice any significant memory consumption from the previous iterations. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
