Firefox 4 was released today. I just downloaded it and am posting from it now. I can say there is a noticeable speed increase and they've consolidated the tab bar and menu bar to maximize screen real estate. Also, they've introduced tab grouping which seems awesome.
Will I switch back from Chrome? Too early to tell, but Firefox has certainly stepped up its game. http://www.mozilla.com/

Let's hope we're getting the home comforts of Firefox with the speed of Chrome.

FF4 has plenty of great add-ons already, it's gonna be my go-to unless some huge bug pops up. It's just easier for me to set things up exactly to my liking than the others.

I tried FF4 periodically through the betas and RC, and today with the release, though their is an increase in speed it still doesn't match Chromium or Opera for me. It also looks almost exactly like Opera. I was also having issues with text colors when using dark themes, I could only find compromises for them but no fixes.
The only thing that I really miss from Firefox right now is NoScript. But Chrome's extensions have caught up quite a bit otherwise. That said, if Firefox were to release a browser that was faster than chromium and fixed their bugs I would switch back in an instant.

Anymore, browsers don't really "do" anything "better" or "worse", it just boils down to personal preference and habit more than anything. |

I got fairly good at writing.css styles for Firefox, and have it looking just the way I want it now, so I'm pretty motivated to stick with that. Haven't noticed any speed differences that actually matter to me in any of them. |

There is a thing called standards compliance, which is a measure of how well browsers' engines (mozilla, Webkit, etc.) interpret a site's code, compared to how they are expected to. IE9 is still a bit late and underwhelming, although a huge step forward.
If they all complied the same, making web sites would be a helluva lot easier, and it would make the user experience all the better.
Example - a chart of how they each support HTML5's enhancement to forms: The Current State of HTML5 Forms · Wufoo
