Somewhere out there, two Mac fans just high-fived, and PC guy whimpered...

Try uninstalling FireFox, and then download the latest installer and go from there (?)

Probably a corrupt preferences file for Firefox.

Quit Firefox, then delete, move or rename:

/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences/org.mozilla.firefox.plist

I recommend deleting it. It will be re-created when you restart.

Restart Firefox. I'd check to make sure I was running the current version of Firefox, as well.

I've never had firefox crash, even on vista. Weird. Just thought I;d throw that needle in there.

anyway, I would re-install, go from there.

Safari always seems to run slower than firefox. I had it freeze once or twice never crash.

Nothing like looking at blue boxes with question marks in 'em where images and buttons should be!

To be fair I haven't updated to the latest version. When running well it is the best browser on a Mac.
But I use FF, Op and Camino pretty much in that order these days.

Get the latest beta (FireFox3 beta 5). It rocks on my iMac. I don't use Safari anymore.
