I've had pretty good success with Firefox and I was wondering if anyone has the same experience or not?
I've also installed several add-on so I thought it might be useful if other TBr's would post your most useful add-ons.
I installed two today: Auto-Page and Tree Style Tab.
Auto-Page creates and infinite "scroll" of a multi-page website, i.e, it keeps adding pages at the bottom of the screen so you don't have to keep hitting "next page".
Tree Style Tab creates an outline form for your open tabs on the right side of your screen and keeps together any pages open in one website, no matter what order they were opened.
I also use Adblock Plus, IE View, Java Quick Starter, Download Status Bar, Google Tool Bar for Firefox.
All have worked w/o problems and made using FF very user friendly. |

DownloadHelper is a pretty usefull add-on that makes it easy to download vids of your favorite band/bassplayer/whatsoever from Youtube, etc. http://www.downloadhelper.net/

I also use AdBlock. When those "Gay Chubby Dating" advertisements were showing up on TB; those with AdBlock were all like and everyone else was like or (I don't judge).
There is a scroll zoom add-on that allows you to right click on an image and use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out It's called Image Zoom.
I use No Script on a recommendation by Munjibinga.
Lastly I use ForecastFox which gives me a little weather forecast in the tool bar. It's accuweather so I don't know how accurate it actually is, but It works for a general idea of the temp and if it is going to precipitate. Great for me as I never watch the news.
EDIT: Okay the Gay Chubby Dating Ads didn't really cause that much of a stir. |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Rochelle, Illinois | | I was using FF for Linux (Ubuntu) and it worked great up until a few months ago when it stopped displaying some information, such as links, images and other critical items on pages (but only on Talkbass ) I tried for a week to figure out what the problem was since it didn't affect other browsers and it also didn't affect other sites and then I gave up. Now I just use Epiphany web browser, unless I connect with my other PC (running WinXP) and FF works just fine.
Maybe I should try again and reinstall FF to see if it will display properly. Hopefully the problem will have fixed itself.

IMHO anyone that still uses Internet Explorer is completely retarded in this day and age of computers/interweb. You are just asking to be infected if you do not use something else.
Especially if you look at intereb porn and/or use any social networking web sites such as myspace and the like.

Quite why anybody uses anything else is beyond me. Firefox has everything else beaten in terms of usability, features, security, compatability and expandability. |

Example: I go to talkbass.com. Viewing the forums, I start middle clicking open new tabs for all the threads I want to read. They should be happening in a new tree with this addon, but they just open as a new tab in the usual place, with no "treeing" happening.
Boo.
At first when I installed it it was an older version. I searched and found the version that was supposed to work with my version of FF I have (3.0.7), still no go.
