Illegal in my state too.

We can get them just over the boarder in Connecticut, but usually this time of year the RI state police are on the look out for such contraband. Most people can get them and not get in trouble as long as you're not a complete idiot about it.

Theyre illegal in my city, but not the 2 bordering cities, but only the really lame fireworks are allowed in california... basically anything that shoots into the air or goes *boom* is a big no no, though that never stops us.

A few years ago my friends older brother was busted driving back from Ohio with a big box of the good stuff. Got the 'works confiscated and a nice fine. Last year was great though... the largest roll of firecrackers Ive ever seen, not to mention all those awesome mortars...

I hate people who use fireworks in residential areas... I call the cops on my neighbors that always have them. Every town I've ever lived in has had annual displays that I've enjoyed... and being in a shore area, they can be seen regularly. No need to risk my safety and property or disturb my peace.

Well, aren't you a party pooper?!

Isn't the point of fireworks to do dangerous things and disturb the peace??

We just get drunk and shoot guns wildly into the humid night sky.
Actually, I'm half-expecting my boss to get arrested for fireworks this year. Last year he got a $500.00 fine/citation.

Houston currently has a fireworks ban because of the lack of rain we've experienced. IIRC, we can use them if we get rain tomorrow or the next day.

My state does not even allow sparklers, but I'm going to FLA on friday for vacation. The Fourth should be a blast.

Maryland atleast allows any fireworks that dont shoot in the sky (pretty much stationary stuff). Im not shooting any since most of my family will be at our army band's 4th concert where the the big guns will be going off over the water while we play some patriotic tunes.

Fireworks are restricted but not illegal in my area, but I happen to live close to Missouri so I plan to travel to Rockport where they have Firework Malls and get some awesome illegal stuff and shoot it off anyway. The cops look the other way on this. They sell 1/4 sticks of Dynamite and stuff like that.

The 4th of July is by far my favorite holiday. I truly love it, and my good friend is a hardcore redneck style 4th of July dude. We even make our own rigs and such. One year we made rocket mounts for roman candles in the back of his truck and drove around shooting them off in the neighborhood. Another awesome gag is to light meg smokebombs in intersections, They cannot hurt anyone and they get a great response. Ill try to get some good photos. IT gets tough at night though cause my camera phone fails.

This is a cool video I found for fireworks fans to check out. Hope you check it out and enjoy!

Fireworks are awesome. Unfortunately, most of the time here they seem to be colored fog.

The stuff sold in CT aren't real fireworks, it's just sparklers and stuff (no firecrackers, bottle rockets or roman candles). Have to go to NH for the real stuff.
