I have a Blazer that was so rusted out, you could see the driver
Ok, maybe an exaggeration, but it was the worst I've ever seen. I made my own body panels and did the bondo & paint myself....all for $120 http://www.flickr.com/photos/tama_dr...7619808646249/
It's a Benz...not a bad start !! |

More than likely I'll end up snagging a clunker offa craigslist.

the best part of that car was that the back windows rolled all the way down, and it had a sun roof. load that car with four people and a bunch of water balloons and it was good but mean fun. man, that was awesome.
since im a spoiled ford freak, i have been driving black on black manual mustang gts since i turned 18. i dont know why i had to add that, but i did it anyway. dont buy a mustang. there are better cars for the money. i have lost faith. i guess thats why i added that. |

Ok, I'm embarrassed to admit it but my first car was a 1968 Opel Kadett.
Most sewing machines have more power...the body was held together with rust and bailing wire, the clutch chattered...etc, etc.
Yikes !!! |

But it has a lot of miles, the dash is cracked, leather ripped and the trunk is stained of the smell of diesel that won't come out! LOL It will be worth something someday. |

| | No Longer Works a Day Job | | Join Date: Jun 2000 Location: USA | | | 1984 Chevy Impala with 47,000 miles on it. I was the 2nd owner. It had sat for long enough in the garage that I ended up needing to replace the belts (engine belts), some of the electrical was funky too.
I sold that car for $600.
I also had a Chevy G20 Cargo van-i think it was either an 85 or 86. I bought it from a management company (apartments). It was on it's way out when I got it. I drove it through high school as a gear hauler. Sold it once I got into school in Chicago for right about what I paid for it.
Now? No car what so ever. Thank you public transit. Eventually, I'd like to get a small SUV or a small wagon type of thing.
