First gripe with iTunes.

Sign in to disble this ad
Since I came to Canada from Aus I can't use my iTunes to buy music anymore as it's for 'Australian sales only'

I really only need two or three MP3's but I need them tonight and ASAP.

Does anyone know a site similar with the same kind of deal as iTunes that I can use here?

And if anyone can give some tips on getting them 'free' (I ALWAYS purchase music, but I really don't want to be downloading programs to my mac just for 2 or 3 songs) feel free to PM.

Cheers.

Use Youtube. If you need the actual MP3s rather then just being able to listen to them, there are plenty of sites that will rip audio from Youtube for you.

amazon has a search category called "mp3 downloads." i have never purchased mp3s from there (or anywhere for that matter), but depending on how popular/recent the music is, they might have it.

as for free music, newsgroups are the riskier way to go, as it is public, and availability is also dependent on how recent/popular the music is. i have used this resource for other things, but never mp3s, but have picked up a couple nasty viruses. if you go with this route, get good virus protection (i recommend ESET NOD32).

the best, 99.9% safe way to go is to get an invite to a private community. however, if you dont know someone that can get you an invite, you are out of luck.

Hey man, I've found a site that's pretty cheap and legal. http://www.lala.com/

Amazon rules. DRM free and higher quality that iTunes, plus they are usually a little cheaper.

Cool

I was enslaved by Microsoft and as such am not allowed near said place. If it exists.
Microsoft Junkie Says "Zune 120GB"

Wireless music sharing is always a plus. Besides always being able to recover my collection of music.
And listening to my playlists while on X-Box 360...
... I really should look into getting them to sponsor/pay me.
