What can anyone here tell me about vacationing in the Keys? A few friends and I are looking at heading down there in August for a few days of fishing and snorkeling/diving, but none of us have ever been.
Any pros/cons anyone feels like sharing are appreciated.

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Englewood, FL | | | just a note, if you are driving, plan on staying a bit. if you are coming from Mobile, AL it will take you every bit of 15 hours and you will not want to go home. i recommend hanging in the middle somewhere, key colony or marathon or something. it's about an hour from key west so you can easily visit without staying among the craziness. have fun. |
